After graduating from Clyde High School in 1976, Bill Baker and Ken Bonnigson attended Reppert School of Auctioneering in Decatur, Indiana. Licensed in 1977, they apprenticed with Rollie Crum, Auctioneer, of Green Springs, Ohio. They have been in partnership since 1977 and incorporated Real Estate in 1994. Cindy & Bill Baker and Ken Bonnigson are all licensed realtors. In addition, Ken is a licensed real estate broker and in 1989, he received his CAI (Certified Auctioneer Institute) designation.

Baker & Bonnigson specialize in Real Estate Sales, Antiques & Collectibles, Estate Auctions, Liquidations, Total Asset Recoveries, and Farm Equipment.

In 1984, they began using tents for the auction business which expanded their operation to include Tent, Table & Chair Rentals.

In November, 1995, Baker & Bonnigson opened their office on McPherson Highway, just west of Clyde, Ohio. Office hours are Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Baker & Bonnigson have an on-site mobile office which offers fully computerized clerking and cashiering at all auctions.

Bill & Ken have won awards at the state level for advertising and marketing strategies of their auction printed material. Throughout the year, they volunteer their time and professionalism to various non-profit organizations in the area.
